Busy Signal Errors

A busy signal indicates that the recipient’s fax line was already in use when VoltFax attempted to deliver your fax.

Why This Happens

Busy signals commonly occur when:

• The recipient is receiving another fax.
• The fax line is being used for another call.
• Multiple transmissions are being received simultaneously.

What to Do

If you receive a busy signal:

• Wait a few minutes.
• Try sending the fax again.
• Contact the recipient if the problem persists.

Busy signals are usually temporary and often resolve without additional troubleshooting.
