User Roles & Permissions

User roles determine what each team member can view and manage within VoltFax.

Common Roles

Administrator

Administrators have full access to manage the account, users, settings, fax numbers, billing, and security options.

Manager

Managers can oversee team activity and manage shared fax workflows, depending on your organization’s configuration.

User

Users can send and receive faxes and access the resources assigned to them.

Managing Permissions

Administrators can update user roles at any time from the Team Management page.

Security Recommendation

Grant users only the permissions they need to perform their responsibilities. Limiting access helps protect sensitive information and reduces the risk of unauthorized changes.
