Troubleshooting Fax-to-Email

If your incoming faxes are not arriving in your email inbox, there are several things you can check.

Verify Fax-to-Email Is Enabled

Sign in to your VoltFax account and confirm that Fax-to-Email is turned on for your account.

Confirm Your Email Address

Make sure the configured email address is correct and still active.

If you recently changed your email address, update your Fax-to-Email settings accordingly.

Check Your Spam or Junk Folder

Some email providers may incorrectly classify fax notifications as spam. If necessary, add VoltFax to your safe sender or allow list.

Review Notification Settings

Verify that email notifications have not been disabled in your account settings.

Confirm the Fax Was Received

Check your VoltFax Inbox to determine whether the fax was successfully received.

  • If the fax appears in your Inbox but not your email, the issue is likely related to email delivery.
  • If the fax does not appear in your Inbox, the sender’s transmission may have failed or the fax may still be processing.

Contact Support

If Fax-to-Email still isn’t working after completing these steps, contact VoltFax Support and provide:

  • Your account email address
  • The destination email address configured for Fax-to-Email
  • The approximate date and time the fax was sent
  • The sender’s fax number, if available

This information helps our support team investigate the issue more efficiently.
