Number porting allows you to transfer an existing fax number from another provider to your VoltFax account.
What Is Number Porting?
Porting lets you keep your existing fax number while moving your fax service to VoltFax.
This helps avoid updating business cards, websites, forms, and customer records.
Future Porting Process
When this feature becomes available, you will typically:
- Submit a port request.
- Verify ownership of your existing number.
- Provide any required authorization documents.
- Wait for the transfer to be completed.
- Receive confirmation once your number is active with VoltFax.
Before Porting
To help ensure a smooth transfer:
- Keep your existing fax service active until the port is complete.
- Verify that you are the authorized owner of the number.
- Ensure your account information matches your current provider’s records.
